How does it work?
The transmitter aims at the target and emits a beam of light, which generally comes from semiconductor light sources, light-emitting diodes (leds), laser diodes and infrared emitting diodes. The beam is emitted without interruption, or the pulse width varies. The receiver is composed of photodiode, phototriode and photocell. In front of the receiver, optical elements such as a lens and an aperture are installed. Behind it is the detection circuit, which filters out the effective signal and applies the signal.
How to locate?
